Expanding a long-standing creative partnership, Crescent marks American designer and stylist Colin King’s first foray into furniture for Audo, translating his distinctive visual sensibility into functional sculpture.
Defined by its crescent-shaped profile — flat at the front and gracefully curved at the back — Crescent invites interaction from every angle. Designed to be seen in the round, its open form allows light and sightlines to pass through, making it equally effective as shelving, storage or a room divider. “I wanted to create something that could live at the centre of a room,” King says. “Not furniture to be placed against a wall, but a piece with presence — something sculptural, yet deeply functional.”
Available in two heights, H60 and H173, Crescent’s proportions are generous yet grounded. The smaller version functions beautifully behind a sofa or as a console, while the taller version lends structure and rhythm to larger spaces. Both feature adjustable feet for precise levelling, ensuring perfect balance across any surface. Crafted in lacquered oak, Crescent’s rounded corners and smooth contours soften its substantial form.
With Crescent, Audo and Colin King continue to explore how furniture can serve as both utility and expression. The result is a piece that feels both rooted and refined — an architectural gesture rendered with human softness.
