Carl Hansen BM0121I 120x60cm Extension Leaf

Carl Hansen BM0121I 120x60cm Extension Leaf

Manufacturer: Carl Hansen

Designer: Borge Mogensen 1922

Carl Hansen & Son presents Borge Mogensen’s circular dining table BM0121 in solid oak. The design standsĀ out for its ingenious simplicity, with focus on functional details and quality craftsmanship. MogensenĀ presented the dining table in 1952 at the Arts and Crafts Spring Exhibition in Copenhagen, Denmark, as partĀ of a democratic furniture series designed with small homes in mind. Carl Hansen & Son is now relaunchingĀ this functional table, which is the first circular extendable table in the collection.

The design has been recreated from an older original model which has been meticulously measured by hand, as no drawings of the table exist. The dining table is designed for four people but can seat six when extended with a traditional pull-out and insert leaf in solid oak or MDF.

Please note: Solid wood is a living material that gives and absorbs moisture from its the surroundings. To prevent cracks, please avoid sudden changes in humidity and temperature. Cracks caused by desiccation are not under warranty (a valid claim).

Please note that the wood structure on extension leaves may vary in relation to the table top.
