Designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1962 the CH 36 and the CH37 (with arms) are beautiful dining chairs.
It is a light chair easy to move around the dining table and about the room. It is also very comfortable.
An excellent example of Wegner's constant striving towards organic simplicity to create sculptural beauty comfort and outstanding stability.
Produced in Danish hardwoods (oak beech) as well as American walnut it is available in standard finishes and colours. Please note that with oak the wood structure is clearly visible when painted whereas with beech there is only a minimum structure. Oak is only available in black CHS colour whereas Beech is available in all of the CHS colours.
It has either a Natural or a Black Paper Cord seat that is woven with 120 m of paper cord that lasts up to 50 years before replacement.
