The RF1904 Sideways Lounge Chair is an elegant combination of solid wood, upholstery, and natural paper cord. The seat and back are padded so firmly that the upholstery remains smooth and crease-free. The back of the chair is upholstered in fabric with a woven, paper cord backrest - a design feature that gives the lounge chair a sense of lightness while also linking it to the Sideways Sofa.

As an extension to the RF1903 Sideways Sofa, the RF1904 Sideways Lounge Chair exhibits a soft design language and subtle details. This curvaceous chair continues to demonstrate designer Rikke Frost’s mindful, minimal approach to contemporary furniture by designing for modern needs and using long-lasting materials.

The RF1094 Sideways Lounge Chair exudes modern elegance, inviting a sense of retreat with its cocooning shape. First impressions suggest an organic and sculptural seat which embraces the sitter with a firm, curved support wrapping around the sides and back. Closer inspection reveals a chair that reserves space for quiet contemplation whilst feeling open to welcome conversation.

Crafted from a considered trinity of classic materials, the chair displays a steam-bent backrest made from FSC™-certified oak or walnut and high-quality textile upholstery. Tightly strung paper cord detailing to the back of the chair gives it a lightness of form, making it beautiful to view from all angles.
