Fritz Hansen 3107 Series 7 Chair Belfast Velvet Grey Blue Black Legs
Designer: Arne Jacobsen, 1955  | Manufacturer: Fritz Hansen  | Upholstery: Belfast Velvet Grey Blue  | Base: Black Steel Legs  | Stock: 2 remaining
Â
An Icon, Elevated
The Series 7™ is the most produced chair in Fritz Hansen’s history — and in Belfast Velvet, it is at its most considered. The shell is formed from nine layers of pressure-moulded veneer, giving it a strength and flexibility that its slender profile belies. Fully upholstered in soft Italian velvet, the Grey Blue colourway has a depth and subtlety that works equally well at a dining table, a desk, or as a standalone accent chair. The black steel legs ground it without heaviness.
It is a chair that has been in continuous production since 1955 for a simple reason: it is genuinely difficult to improve upon.
Â
Stock Sale — 2 Chairs Remaining
