Created by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe for his 1929 German Pavilion at the International Exhibition in Barcelona, the Barcelona Collection's pure composition came to epitomise modern architecture. The Barcelona Relax Footstool is a tribute to the marriage of modern design, exceptional craftsmanship, and meticulous attention to detail.

From the elegant crisscross frame to the individual upholstery squares expertly welted together by hand, every element is executed with precision. The cushion is formed from 16 individual squares of leather or fabric, hand-welted and hand-tufted with buttons — when specified in leather, all squares are cut from a single cowhide. The cushion is secured to the frame by belting leather straps with edges dyed to match.

Available in Venezia Leather (special price) and leather grades W, X, Y, Z and N, with a polished chrome or ultra-matte onyx frame.
