Louis Poulsen PH 80 Table Lamp
Manufacturer: Louis Poulsen
Designer: Poul Henningsen
The PH 80 was originally a table and floor lamp designed in tribute to Poul Henningsen, one of Denmark's most renowned designers, especially celebrated for his work with lighting. The PH 80 was created in 1974, after Henningsen's death, as a homage to him on what would have been his 80th birthday.
The original PH80 is part of Henningsen's famous "PH series" and follows his principles of creating glare-free lighting through a multi-shade design. The PH 80 Table Lamp is both functional and aesthetic, providing comfortable, indirect lighting that is warm and diffuse, making it suitable for both private homes and professional environments.
The fixture emits a diffused, reflected, symmetrical light. The majority of the light is directed downward. The opal acrylic shades provide comfortable room lighting. On the original fixture, the red hue of the top reflector adds an intense, warm glow to the light. The white version has a white top reflector that reflects the light for a clean, elegant look. The choice of light source will determine the colour of the illumination.
Light source: 1 x E14
Dimensions: Diameter: 320mm x Height: 405mm
2.5 m. Textile cord with plug. On/off switch on cord.
