The Panton Wire Unit is the original building block of Verner Panton's iconic wire shelving system, designed in 1971. Taller than the Half Height and narrower than the Extended, it is the most versatile module in the range — equally at home as a standalone shelf, stacked in a floor-to-ceiling composition, or used as a room divider in a hallway or open-plan space.
Units can be floor-standing using the included detachable feet, or wall-mounted with the supplied suspension brackets and assembly clips. Maximum load: 20kg evenly distributed across top and bottom.
Available in two depths and seven finishes — Chrome, Snow, Black, Monarch, Pine, Black Red, and Rosehip — the Unit forms the foundation of any Panton Wire composition.
