The media shelf fits into wire panels from StringĀ® System with depth 30 cm. The media shelf is produced to give the vinyl record player a designated spot. The media shelf is designed to help you organise all cords and cables by letting them disappear behind the shelf without the risk of getting pinched between the wall and shelf. It can also be used as a desk. Please note that the unit requires the String Side panels that have to be purchased separately.
The StringĀ® System was designed in 1949 and over 60 years it has evolved from being a ground-breaking concept to becoming one of the most loved pieces of classic Scandinavian design.
Each component of the system is so well thought through that there is an almost infinite variety of combinations. Thanks to the slim panels it's possible to create a shelf large enough for any number of books and objects that still looks light. The components are available in a range of colours and materials, yet the measurements are fixed and have never been altered. That's why a stringĀ® shelf can always be rebuilt, reinvented and transformed.
The media shelf is just available in one size and in 2 colours.
