Few objects blur the line between furniture and sculpture as completely as the Living Tower. Conceived by Verner Panton for his landmark Visiona installation at the 1968 Cologne Furniture Fair, it was born from his radical vision of the interior as a total work of art — floor, ceiling, light, and form unified into a single immersive experience.

Standing over two metres tall, the Living Tower offers four distinct seating levels, each a softly upholstered niche designed for lounging, reclining, or perching. The two-part birch plywood frame is entirely hand-crafted and wrapped in generous padding — tactile, enveloping, and unmistakably Panton.
