The smaller version of the Opala Table Lamp - same series, same character, scaled for tighter spaces.
Hans J. Wegner designed the HJW01 in 1973 as part of the Opala lighting series commissioned for Hotel Scandinavia in Copenhagen. The series is immediately recognisable: slightly tilted shades, straight lines, a quietly futuristic quality that has aged without dating.
The Opala Table Lamp Mini features an asymmetric opal acrylic shade with a painted aluminium top. The asymmetry directs a focused, pleasant light where it is needed while the opal surface softly fills the surrounding space. An in-line switch keeps operation simple. Well suited to desks, bedside tables, and shelving. Also available in a larger Midi version.
